Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) is a framework that describes what a user can do with the language. It is an internationally recognized standard that makes it easier for students, teachers, educational institutions and future employees to understand the capabilities obtained and expectations expected for each CEFR level.
TEFL is an acronym that stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language and TESOL is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. A TEFL/TESOL certificate is the qualification required in order to teach English abroad.
