SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024

The examination structure for SSC MTS 2024 involves two sessions, both conducted as a computer-based test in online mode. Session I and Session II each consist of two sections. In Session I, candidates will face Numerical & Mathematical Ability, along with Reasoning Ability & Problem Solving. On the other hand, Session II comprises General Awareness and English Language & Comprehension. SSC MTS Paper 2 (Physical Test)

The subsequent stage of the SSC MTS is the physical test, which is an integral part of the examination process. The final merit is determined by the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), encompassing Session-I and Session-II.

In instances where a tiebreaker is required between two candidates, the exam conducting authorities will prioritize the marks scored in the Computer-Based Examination to make the final selection.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements for SSC MTS:

Male Candidates:

  Walking: Covering a distance of 1600 meters in 15 minutes.

Female Candidates:

  Walking: Covering a distance of 1000 meters in 20 minutes.

Physical Standards for SSC MTS:

Male Candidates:

Height: 157.5 cm (Relaxation by 5 cm for Assamese, Garhwalis, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes).

Chest: 81 cm (Fully expanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

Female Candidates:

Height: 152 cm (Relaxation by 2.5 cm for Assamese, Garhwalis, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes).

Weight: 48 kg (Relaxation by 2 kg for Assamese, Garhwalis, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes).
